a nice example of an artnouveau pewtercard tray or salver, it was produced in the art nouveaujugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf,kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range,fully marked to the base with the design number 0109 dating to around 1902/3 and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox,the pewter is a gently polished condition and as a result there some loss of definition to the fabulous knox design,the abalone inserts are all present with good colour variation,two have tiny missing flakes and the piece has some pitting which is clearly visible in the images,over all condition should still be considered as good,it measures 9.5\" in diameter so still nice display piece,if you require any further information,please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
