This is a museum quality wall panel in antique chinese silk embroidery. This pieces signed the start of chinoiserie era in interior design in Europe. This large and very rare piece carries the sofisticated work of chinese aligned with french symbol of pagoda. The wall panel is silk on silk embroidery of 19th century, in brilliant colors, motifs of butterflies, birds and flowers/bamboo trees, coordinated in quite a meaningful and beautiful way. It is in excellent condition.It measures 73 inch/185 cm wide and 89 inch/226 cm heigh. The piece comes in a frame of gilded bamboo, or can be mailed nationally/internationally without it.
