A very rare, unused package of vintage Matchbox/Ring Raiders valentine\'s day cards.PACKAGE OF 38 VINTAGE RING RAIDERS VALENTINE\'S DAY CARDS & ENVELOPESDETAILS:
-Based on the short-lived Ring Raiders television series(Sep. 1989 - Oct. 1989)& Matchbox line of toys (produced for about 6 months), these Valentine’s Day cards feature aviation themed messages & illustrations including: “Have a High-Flyin’ Time!” and “Hope your Valentine’s Day is A-OK!”The Ring Raiders cartoon series was based on the Matchbox toy line of the same name and because it was on the air for such a short period of time it has become a cult classic for Matchboxenthusiasts.Only 5 episodes of Ring Raiders were made and aired; all were considered pilot episodes becausethe cartoon series was never picked up for a full season.
-This sealed Valentines Day Classroom Exchange Card Kit comes with 38 cards – 4 different designs / 9 of each design and 2 teacher cards. All of the cards come with envelopes.
-These valentines were sold only in stores during January & February of 1989 and due to the brief run of the show are one of the very few collectibles produced for the series, whichmakes these cards very rare.
