Listed as in production from about 1924 - 1938. If produced that for that long ofa period of time, don\'t you think more would exist? See the Charlton Standard Guidefor Royal Doulton Figurines, any of them [ #1 though # 12 ]. None known until now.
Never went into production beyond prototype stage, hence just one known now.Looks like he was made around 11/24 or so, the incised date markis hard to read.
Are there more, well probably maybe, somewhere maybe another one exists.HN 370 same figurine in another color, only one is known at this time. Bob fromN.J. is the lucky owner.
Condition: excellent with overall general GLAZE CRAZING.NO chips NO cracks NO hairlines NO damage NO restorationThe backstamp is worn in places.
As seen in the pictures:The lines on the underside of the base are just that, in the mold.It is not a spider crack, though it looks like it. These are surface scratches.For some unknown reason those were put there before firing.
I have looked at the area with a lighted magnifying glass and a loop.The marks are only on the surface only and definitively NOT a spider crack.
