This is something I am selling from a scottie collection of an elderly friend who is 97 years young. I must admit I have seen plenty of cigarette cards and that this particular one has always been one of my favorites, BUT I have never seen one framed commercially like this that enables you to also see the back of the card because of the double glass framing. I am quite sure she purchased it that way and she did have a liking for these cards as I have already sold a grouping for her. This is a heavy item because of the double glass and the frame is a black metal as well so please remember that when considering the postage. I would say it is about 4 times heavier than you might think . Frame is in like new condition and honestly looks as if it has never been hung up. This card is number 22 of 25 Dog Studies reproduced from phot etchings. It is by ARDATH Tobacco COMPANY . It reminds me of a Kirmse etching of scotties but it does not say it is. Frame measures about 6 1/2 x almost 5 1/2 inches. You can see that it is ready to hang with a tooth type fastener. Thanks for looking and please feel free to email me with any questions.
