This rare 1958 Mattel ( TOY ) Indian Scout Rifle with original box is in great condition. It looks to be in working condition as well. The hammer pulls back and the cap hammer pulls back and locks into place. When trigger is pulled it seems to work properly. I have no caps/bullets to test. There is no damage to TOY rifle and measures almost 30\" long. Color looks great on plastic stock. Box looks pretty good, but has some minor ware and is a little brittle. Back of box where pop out target was,has been removed (see pic). Box is dated 1958, Mattel Inc., Los Angeles, Calif. Very cool rare Mattel TOY rifle collectible!
