stamped made in england on the base.made from a type of thermo plastic - from the late 50s/early 60s...celluloid ?

diameter of the lid is approx 11cm and the bottom of the base is approx 7cm
(height approx 10cm to top of the handle)

authentic vintage, my gran had one just like this on her dressing table.
