  • Circa 1926.
  • Painted gray metal.
  • John Gutzon de la Mothe Borglumcreatedthe monumentalpresidents\' heads atMount Rushmore,the famous carving onStone MountainnearAtlanta; and several statues of Lincoln. These bookends sold by Ronson in the 1920s were modeled after the pictured statue (photo 2) that is located inin front of the old Essex Courthouse in Newark and is known as \"The Seated Lincoln\"
  • Ronson made this statue in three different sizes in both a bronze and black finish. The setoffered here is in fantastic condition.
  • No dings.
  • Thefinish is ingreat condition - see photos for details.

  • The bookends are a 6-1/2 inches tall 6 inches wide and 3-3/4 inches deep. The pair weigh 8 pounds.
