From artwork is great – but interior greeting makes it spectacular – It says: GLAMOUR PUSS!(definitely a 1950s era card -not something we would utter today.)

This is one of the mostspectacular vintage greeting cards that I have seen. Unfortunately I do notknow the company, nor the artist, nor even the correct terms for the typeof art work.

It looks like it hasbeen hand tinted, but the coloring looks like “chalk” or pastel paintcolors. Art design has a matte look

The gold décor aroundthe cat’s neck is a raised gold gilt – Looks like she has an Egyptian Revivalstyle gold necklace instead of just a color. This same raised gold designappears on the tassel, braided border trim and polka dots of the lush pillow.

The front states:GET WELL SOON – when opened it states in large letters extending across thecard fold is: GLAMOUR PUSS.

The art work has thatHollywood Regency rich plush gold gilt styling. But the cat with the jewelrylooks very much Egyptian Revival – This one is rather special- Plus the cat isa bright pink!

The paper is a mattetype of paper and is the older double type fold – or four folded card.

The code on the back is:Made in U.S.A. 15A – 1027.

Size: approx 63/4ths by 3 ¼ inches.

Condition: extremely nice vintage / UNUSED, but no longer hasthe original envelope. Possibly some light age toning.
