This is very interesting example of very desirable pre WWII Polish army issued bayonet.
Manufactured in mid 1930's by FB Radom , and designed for wz29 Polish Mauser rifle.
In Sept of 1939 this bayonet was captured by Germans and re-issued to Wehrmacht.German depot grinded off muzzle loop that was typical for Polish bayonets in order to make it work with K98 rifle !
Looks like this bayonet might been also used once more after WWII ended either by Yugoslavian or Romanian army - not sure of that and my assumption is based on markings on scabbard - triangle stamp.
Bayonet is Polish army proofed with D2 proof and has Polish Eagle crest with Polish army Initials - W.P.
Overall very scarce bayonet !
