Up for sale is a rare and historically significant Hungarian WW2 Air Force Officers Dagger from the 1st Paratroopers Battalion, crafted in 1943 during the Horthy Era. This exceptional piece reflects fine craftsmanship and holds rich historical value.

Description

This Hungarian WW2 dagger features a straight, double-edged blade of lozenge section, skillfully engraved on both sides with intricate details:

One side displays decorative engravings and a skull.
The other side bears the inscription: "Kubányi Imre Pápa 1943".

The dagger’s tang is adorned with the Hungarian coat of arms, the maker’s name Mészáros Lajos Budapest, and the mark N50.

Scabbard Details:

Constructed from solid metal, featuring the Hungarian coat of arms.
Equipped with two suspension rings for secure attachment.
Includes a locking mechanism: the knife locks into the scabbard using a button mechanism on the back.
Marked with N50.
