Gorgeous Antique Wehrle Company Wood Parlor Stove, model "Acme Surprise No. 25", Circa 1900-1910. The nickel finial & base are stunning.This beauty was purchased by a friend's grandmother from Sears & Roebuck and was used to heat her home until the 1940-50's.In 1984 the stove was refurbished including the nickel plating & replacing the mica. It has not been used since the restoration.
Measurements provided to me by the owner:
The actual stove itself is 34" high.The detachable finial on top is another 18" above the chimney top.The detachable nickel plated stand is 9".Guesstimate on weight is 250 to 300 pounds.The listing is for local pickup, but would be open to getting quotes for shipment ~ contact me if you are interested in that option.
