The Seth Thomas #71 regulator clock has a plaque on the inside bottom right which identifies it as a U.S. Coast Guard Radio beacon clock, type MT-178, manufactured by Wallace and Tiernan in 1944. The dial is branded Seth Thomas Made in U.S.A., and has a 13 1/2" brass bezel. There is also a Seth Thomas nameplaque which will need to be re-attached.
The clock has a brass cased weight, and a large pendulum with a diameter of 7". The oak case measures 60 1/4" x 18" x 7 1/4".
The clock is in excellent working condition.
