This collection comes from the estate of a retired postal worker who collected everything postal related for over 40 years! It has never been cherry picked. I quickly tried to sort them as the family basically dumped them in boxes after he had everything sorted etc. someone with knowledge on these has a chance to make some serious coin. I know very little but tried to show just some of the more interesting cards that I saw. There is a whole bag of postcards that are either somewhat risqué, love interest or jokes about it. There are a ton of amazing real photo examples. Oh and at least 90% of this collection is golden age c1915. There is a bag dedicated to Philadelphia and small towns in PA, one for NYC and Coney Island, Tons of heavily embossed cards. I’m also sure that some of these were collected due to rare postmarks and stamps as almost all of them are mailed. Huge opportunity here for someone who really knows this stuff. I just don’t have the time to go through and figure these out. I’m selling for the family who inherited them. I’m aware of obscure photo cards selling for thousands individually. Who knows what you will find in here. There is roughly 30lbs including the bags and a bout 90% of the postcards are sleeved as well. This lot is being sold as is with absolutely no returns due to the sheer volume and is not knowing what is all here.
