SECTION TWO

A LITTLE ABOUT THE COLLECTION

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~💠~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I am retiring and the original owner of a pedigree collection of comics which I started back in 1970, and they have all been climate controlled triple air pocket insulated in archival Mylite bags, acid free boards, comic boxes, boxes then placed in plastic containers lined with gun case insulation cushioning foam to repel heat and moisture. This helps to preserve the comic paper in the CGC holders as well. In that time I have continued to amass thousands to my collection with little being sold, and along the way have certified many by CGC, (Certified Guaranty Company, LLC.) and most remain raw and non-certified.

They begin from the Platinum Age (1897-1938), and continue through :

⚪️Silver Age (1956-1970)

🟤Bronze Age (1970-1985),

⚫️Modern Age (1985-present day).

Comic gifts started in 1970, and I started buying off the stands at the local drug stores beginning with my copy of Neil Adam's Superman issue #233 in January 1971, and favorites later X-Men #94 and Giant Size X-Men #1 & #2 off the store shelves for cover price and still have them all in excellent condition, able to still open and read my childhood.

Books are always handled with gloved hands with the utmost care and respect. I do not add creases, cover dimples, nor spine bends from handling. As I certify and release books from the collection new listings will be posted in my store. All my previous certified books I will be listing first that were certified years ago.

I offer a shipping discount based on package size and weight when you purchase two or more items within a 3 day period on selected items, if I determine they can be properly fitted safely into one carton. All CGC books are professionally padded, wrapped and boxed. I take the utmost care in handling everything I touch, for originality and preservation, is my passion. I will not jeopardize an items condition by over-crowding a parcel.

Sold as is eventually and why :

I inspect all of my CGC certified books which are all still sealed from the CGC plant based in Sarasota Florida and have not been tampered with in any way. The original heat sealed cases remain intact and undamaged, unless otherwise specified as mentioned above. No CGC book may be returned if security seals tampered with in anyway. A photo and or scan is taken prior to listing to ensure there are no broken or cracked cases and the books are ready to ship to the new owner. If discovered, any type of damage will be clearly stated. This process is repeated once sold and prior to bubble wrapping for mailing. The photo and wrapping process is described above in the beginning section under

All of my CGC books in inventory remain in their original CGC issued poly bag for protection of the outer plastic case, and for packaging and shipment. Clear archival Mylite bags, which have a crystal clear like glass look, make for an excellent sharp display and are available as mentioned in the beginning of this listing under "attention."

Original bags as you may know, have an unclear fogged look. For current details, please inquire for small additional cost and availability for optional Mylite bags before making any payment.

Interested parties if would like other photos, simply contact me through . I will be more than happy to pull the book out and photograph what you would like to see. I understand all this is online and you can’t see it as if it is in your own hands.

Again, all cases are damage free unless noted. There may be the typical little rub mark on edges or maybe little marks on the front or rear surface but with my books, those are very rare and far in between.

The books have been in a box their entire life for the last 20 years or so since CGC has been slabbing books and when I also started shortly thereafter. CGC began certifying comics in 2000.

They have never been on wall display nor exposed to sunlight. Again, archive care for the long run. So handling has been minimal. Any glare or scuff marks seen are more than likely on the exterior bag, or caused by lighting conditions taking the photographs. Glare, reflections etc.

Common bag scuffs are on the surrounding edges from placing books by sliding in comic boxes up against other CGC books as we all know. The Mylar bags glide off the others.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact me before offerding or purchasing. I reply quite quickly. There is nothing hidden with my sale items as I am very meticulous on what I put out there after my inspections. I will note anything relevant that I consider worthy of anyone’s attention, just as if I was doing the purchase myself and what I expect from the seller as I have done for the last few decades.

I would rather have an item whatever it is delivered to a customer and they are happy with their purchase than to have to deal with the wait and expense and time of having somebody return something as I am sure nobody wants to do that either.

So therefore, all sales are final with disclosed photos, written description, including any contact information supplied as each purchase will be based on such information.

Once again, all books are inspected prior to listing.

All books are reinspected after sale and buyer will be notified and updated of the process along with the current photo. All of this is also written on this sale site within the item description section in the beginning of the listing under "light scanned."

Most of these bags are 15 years old, and they have served their purpose protecting the casings. CGC books display beautifully in the clear mylar bags that are offered on this sale site above as those bags are much more sturdy and take a beating. They are also crystal clear and archival. Factory bags are foggy looking as you well know. See my note near the top of the sale listing about purchasing a Mylar bag.

SECTION THREE

DETAILED READING ON sale POLICY AND SHIPPING INFORMATION :

1) Shipping and Carriers:

1:1) Shipping carriers: They are chosen at our sole discretion for several reasons and designed to benefit our customers, even if the sale has one already listed in the shipping calculator, we will make the final decision on the carrier used. If the amount is a fixed amount written by us, and is incorrect and insufficient, we will honor that original amount as we should and pay the difference ourselves. If a customer has majorly over-paid with a set shipping price, we will refund the unused difference. Receipt copies for postal drops can be emailed if requested, if they are available. If a customer has paid for insurance through a specific carrier, we will always ensure that their parcel is insured for the value they have paid for regardless of carrier. Unless the customer has specific needs and contacts us with such information before payment, the above applies. Notices after a payment has been made do not guarantee we will see the note in time nor guarantee the shipping carrier will be the same as stated on the sale. All sales will either have an automated shipping calculator to show costs, or sales of other or larger sized parcels may have a rate established and posted. Either way, every customer will be aware of shipping costs before they purchase or send payment of any kind. Multiple sales purchased may or may not have an effect on carrier chosen.

1:2) Signature Confirmation: CGC comics are typically listed with a shipping range from $15.00-$35.00 and higher pending on estimated item final value. This is due to mandatory insurance by us included for full value which the system does not allow to filter in said costs, so we have to do manually. Items valued at $500 and over will be required to have a "Signature Confirmation™ Restricted Delivery" attached. This is a request to the postal carrier to only deliver to the addressee and no one else. An I.D. is required for proof. Package should not be delivered if addressee is not available and may be held at the local postal office either until the next mailing day for a delivery or until the addressee can come in to pick up the package. This is to guarantee to the buyer that they receive their package with no possible theft on their end. This is to ensure your investment has been fully insured, safely and properly delivered.

1:3) Sales Tax: By separating shipping costs from item value, buyer does not pay automated sales tax on shipping, thus saving buyer money. Can thank for that policy change. Sellers noting *free shipping merely add that cost into the minimum posted value, and buyers end up paying tax on that full addition. Most, if not all of our sales contain separate shipping costs. sales may vary.

1:4) Local Pick Up: This is welcome for buyers that wish to not have to pay mailing costs. That service is available when it is convenient for both parties and is communicated before any payment is arranged and/or made. Local pick up is not always available depending on time and schedules therefore availability is not inferred or implied. In these hand-over deliveries, payment will probably be a cash on hand, cash and carry transaction. Again, communications will be in order before any order is processed.

2) Canadian & International shipping:

2:1 ) Rates: Please inquire for rates if not posted. (see Combined Shipping section #4 below ) Insurance coverage is mandatory on all international shipping.

2:2 ) Taxes & Tariffs: it is buyer's responsibility to be aware of current and or newly government issued tariffs, or taxes, which may be due on buyers end of the border. Tariffs were put in place by President Trump in 2025. We may or may not update this section so therefore this ever-changing knowledge and information is the responsibility of the buyer in question.

3) Insurance & Signature requirements:

Mailing insurance is an option domestically on small low valued particular orders, and is required on others. Insurance coverage is mandatory for both domestic and international packages of a value of more than $25.00. Each sale will be noted appropriately. Insured parcels are covered by the mail carrier service themselves, not us. We will arrange the information for the necessary articles of claim forms in our customers behalf as we should. All recorded proof of carrier's settlement shall be shared between seller & buyer as well. If the carrier determines there will be some amount of difficulty or time wait with reimbursement with the original claim, then the customer will have to wait for the results found by the carrier in question, before receiving any replacement or refund of any kind. Please read the details pertaining to the particular sale sale policy. We use USPS and FED EX services at our discretion. These different carriers have different policies and costs involved with certain packages. We determine which is best suited for our customers and their particular needs. If the customer has a special request of service carrier, we are more than happy to oblige and or discuss the options. This must be done before payment is sent, not after. (see section #9)

3:1) Carrier Choice & Missed Deliveries: All prices are subject to change at any time without any notice and we have no control on these costs. FED EX includes insurance within their stated costs, but they do not ship to P.O. Boxes. This is one of the several reasons why we choose certain carriers for certain needs best suited for our customers. If there is a Signature required and there is no one to sign, they will not leave the parcel at the door, but rather leave a slip notice stating that you had a package arrive requiring a signature, and it will instruct you what options you have.

3:2) Claims: Copied from the USPS web site ; If the mailer files the claim, the St. Louis ASC will notify the addressee by letter to present the damaged article and mailing container to the USPS for inspection, including any wrapping, packaging, and any other contents that were received. Failure to do so will result in denial of the claim.

3:3) Insurance Costs: USPS Priority & FedEx insurance is included for the first $100.00 of value and a signature may be required to receive a package. Cost increases per $100.00 of value up to $5000.00 value. Special arrangements to be made for items above a $5000 value. Shipping costs on each sale reflect the value of the item and the complete mailing and insurance cost.

4) Combined shipping:

We are more than happy to combine shipping where we possibly can. Actual handling, materials, shipping charges for added weight & insurance are applied. Not all items are available for combined shipping. See sale general description details if it is possible for that particular sales item. If nothing is mentioned in particular, Domestic, and International buyers, please be sure to inquire before you purchase or send payment, if in question. sale winnings cannot be canceled if buyer disagrees with our decision on combined shipping, unless we jointly agree. Again, inquire before you buy.

5) Shipping tracking & turn around time:

Most orders usually ship out within 48 hours of payment clearing, if not less, during the business week Monday thru Friday. We may be in the middle of receiving and organizing fresh inventory and there may be a small delay in shipping new orders. This is a normal part of doing business as is anywhere else. If there should be what we feel is an extended amount of time in order to create a customers shipment, such as payment clearing delays, we will inform customer of such. As for carrier shipping times, they vary on destination of course, type of service, and average one to two days in California, three days to the central states and up to four or five to the Eastern United States. All are approximate times of course for many reasons as mentioned, including but not limited to type of service purchased. Online tracking is provided with each parcel, and we will email you that information within 48 hours of shipping the parcel. If shipping arrival time frame is a question, please inquire before purchasing. We track and follow each and every package from shipment departure to delivery day. Packages for the different countries will have various delivery times.

6) Packing:

I have freight shipped and loaded 18 wheeler flatbeds and packaged items with quality control for half a century, professionally. All of our packages are created professionally and secured with or a combination of either bubble air cushioned wrap, paper, cardboard bracing, double – boxing, air-bags and styro peanuts to ensure proper cushioning for travel through any carrier service.

7) Returns:

All sales are final and there are no returns unless we sent the wrong shipment, or we failed grossly in representation of said item. As with CGC certified graded books there are no surprises, and no returns regardless for you will know exactly what you are offerding/buying on due to the certification, written description, and full range of photos or scans supplied. If a return is validated by us due to our negligence, we will return the entire amount of item and shipping charges paid to us of course. Damaged merchandised above a $25.00 value is always insured by the carrier and handled through their claim process. Not simply by clicking the "return" link. That link is only used if we failed on our part to send the correct item or due to gross negligence on our part.

8) response Policy:

Sales transactions are not complete until the entire process is completed. Ordered, payment received & cleared, inventory packaged, shipped, safely delivered, and then customer satisfaction. To us it's not over merely when someone sends us a payment. That would be foolish. Customer satisfaction is the end result. We ask that all customers take the time to tell us the complete transaction was satisfactory, from finding our products online, to receiving what they ordered found safely at their door, via 's response system. This way we know the story had a happy ending. If there is a problem with the order, or the package has not arrived, of course please contact us first for we also track and follow every package on our own, so we probably already are aware of a needed inquiry. We will then be more than happy to deal with any issue and/or attempt to locate any missing parcel and determine it's location through the shipper that was hired. (please see "Insurance & Signature required" section #3 above for further details on loss) When we do receive your response, we will reply equally usually within 48 hours or immediately, if the automated system is active.

9) Payments:

We accept payments via the new payment management program. The global system began July 20, 2020 and is continuously ever changing. Doubtful anything else can be sent these days, but if so, unapproved funds will be returned and unless other arrangements are made, sale is considered null and void with item(s) re-listed, and a non-paying buyer credit filing made for our sale fees. You may use funds via PayPal from your credit card, bank, or PayPal fund balance, besides other forms allowed by connected to my account. Payment transactions must have and show a confirmed approved address on the payment receipt. If you are uncertain what this means, please learn before, not after, participating on any of our sales. The information is available on your payment company account and policy site by searching the information. All payments are due within 4 days (96 hours) from the sale closure time please per allowed policy. If theres a problem, contact us. Late sent payments or non-accepted payment types may be blocked by and returned and sale considered null and void with item(s) re-listed if we do not confirm any communication from buyer. Notice stress on "confirm". Never assume anyone anywhere received your communication, unless it has been confirmed with a reply.
