Ancient Egyptian bronze furniture attachment depicting the goddess Isis, Late Dynastic Period, 26th–31st Dynasty, ca. 664–332 BCE. Cast in bronze, the attachment presents thehead of Isis, shown crowned withcow horns framing a sun disk, her most recognizable divine attribute. The figure incorporates avian elements, reflecting Isis’s association with transformation, protection, and magical power.

Isis was one of the most important deities in the Egyptian pantheon, revered as the goddess ofmagic, healing, motherhood, and resurrection. Her image was frequently employed on household and ritual objects to invoke divine protection and blessing. Furniture attachments such as this were mounted to wooden ceremonial furnishings, chests, or shrines, serving both decorative and symbolic functions within elite domestic or temple contexts.
