If some worthless NFTs are fetching huge money,then this tangible object of which no more than 3 exist in the world in unopened state, is sure worth the asking price. This item has been listed since 2010 and not ONE person has been able to prove that more than 3 unopened cans exist in the world and I own two of them. With that said, this is the definition of rarity as far as collectibles are concerned.Condition:Brand new/vintage can that is obviously unopened as pictured. There are a couple of tiny dents and scratches on the can due to 20+ years of storage. The can presents very nicely when displayed. Why so much money for this can of Pepsi? Well consider the following:
1- This Michael Jackson collectible is rarer than extremely rare because of the market it was issued in.
2- More importantly the product was pulled from the market a week after its release because the tour was cancelled, never to be rescheduled. So, the product was available for a week in an obscure market [for the time period] making one wonder how many were set aside by the buying public of the time in that part of the world. I firmly believe there are no more than 3 of these in the entire world. After all these years, NOBODY has debunked this claim.
3- I bought three of these cans in UAE when it was released so I am the sole original owner of the cans. I sold one to a collector in Europe a few years ago. Whether he still has it, is unknown.I reserve the right to cancel the sale if buyer's credentials do not check out for any reason,I deem necessary. I also will have a reputable sale house facilitate the transfer of the can to the seller.
