1967 Landmark Casino Chip Set To Howard Hughes From Robert Maheu Unique Museum:
$24500.00
This is an incredible one of a kind piece that sat on American billionaire businessman, casino owner, film producer & aerospace engineer Howard R. Hughes (died 1976) desk in 1967. This is a complete original set of Landmark chips from 1967 (original year of opening) which Hughes owned. The $100 & $25 chips are insanely rare, the $5 is almost never seen and a few of the $1 chips float around. The $5 slot token is sterling silver! This piece is amazing not only for the rarity & value of the casino chips but the tie in to reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes from his CEO of casino operations Robert Maheu (died 2008). The chips were glued in and show staining on one side. This piece has been on display at the mob museum in downtown Las Vegas since 2019. I was told by museum curator that the piece is incredible, authentic and truly one of a kind. It is truly museum quality. This piece has not been available for sale in over 25 years as I owned then consigned to the museum. Howard Hughes items are rare and highly desirable.
