ExceptionalXL 19th-century French Louis XVI cartel clock, beautifully crafted in solid bronze with a rich ormolu gilt finish. This impressive antique wall clock is a rare statement piece, combining refined French neoclassical design, exceptional bronze craftsmanship, and a highly decorative extra-large scale.

The case is richly decorated with flowers, roses, garlands, leaf motifs, and elegant guirlandes that flow along the sides of the clock. The top is finished with a finely detailed goblet ornament, while the lower section features sculptural bronze decoration that adds depth, balance, and grandeur.

The white enamel dial is signedCoeur à Parisand features both Roman and Arabic numerals. The clock includes solid bronze hands, a seconds hand, and a rare rotating moon dial that changes from sun to moon as the day progresses, adding a beautiful and unusual complication.

The back is covered with its original solid bronze plate, an important and desirable detail that adds protection, quality, and authenticity to the piece.
