.The Herschede Hall Clock Company Model 250 "The Clock" is a longcase grandfather clock from the late 20th century. With its traditional design and intricate details, this clock is sure to stand out and provide a touch of old-world charm to any space.


Herschede Model 250 Grandfather Clock, Spanish olive ash veneered case with brass stringing, beveled glass door and sides, nine-tube quarter-hour and hour strike, chime and strike silent selector, eight-day movement with lyre pendulum, hand-engraved 14kt gold-plated dial with Arabic numerals and brass spandrels, Whitington, Westminster, and Canterbury chime selector, ht. 87 1/2 in.


Herschede mahogany grandfather hall clock, model #250. The Clock” . . Mahogany wood with acacia burl veneers. Attached strip brass detail. Gold plated dial, brass weights, 9 tube, triple chime movement. 23″ W x 15″ D x 87″ H. In very good condition.

Brass dial signed “Herschede” has an 11 in. silvered chapter ring with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, moon phase with silvered arch, sub dials for Chime/Silent & Westminster/ Whittington/ Canterbury chimes, fancy pierced brass and engraved center & corner spandrels with pierced hands; brass 8 day weight driven movement signed “Herschede, 635679” with crown, has deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, quality brass pulleys, brass covered weights & pendulum bob with lyre sash and steel pendulum stick, 9 silvered tubes. In an excellent burled walnut case highlighted with brass strapped corners and edges, Bombay style base, broken arch crest with seashell pediment and carved corner finials; brass plaque inside of the door reads “American Made – By Herschede – The Clock – Model 250”. Excellent condition and original finish, has original door and winding key. 97 in. high x 24 in. wide x 14 in. deep.
