The power garnered in the bent over body erupts in a stream of pitch-black brush strokes. The silhouette of this painting looks in one section like part of a circle and in another a triangle. There also appear to be a symbol resembling a brushed kanji character. This painting may be a homage to the famous Zen calligraphic work known as "〇△□” [Circle-Triangle-Square known as The Universe], painted by Sengai Gibon (1750-1837) during the Edo period (1603–1867).
The scene is from the climax of the Arrancar arc of BLEACH. Ichigo Kurosaki becomes one with the Zanpakuto Getsuga, or Moon Fang.
