This is a magnificentmuseum piece bronze Sculpture by Austria Vienna, world famous listed Artist Carl Hagenauer Wien 1930 - 1940. He wasparticipating at the salon in Karl Hagenauer (1872 - 1928) founded what becamethe Werkstätte Hagenauer Wien in 1898. He then trained as a goldsmith before foundinghis own business. His workshop produced his own designs and those of otherartists such as Josef Hoffmann and Otto Prutscher.It has a wonderful detail, design andpatina with an interesting subject, showing a movement, sculpture, artisticallymodern Art perception.Not an easily found item, Super RARE Piece of ART.

Werkstätte Hagenauer Wien - (wHw), handcrafted objects. Carl (Karl) Hagenauer (1872 - 1928) founded what became the Werkstätte Hagenauer Wienin 1898.Karl was aninfluential designer in the Art Deco style. Carl Hagenauer wasan award-winning designer and craftsman and his workshop was a success in itsearly years. Karl (1898-1956), the elder of his two sons, joined his father’sworkshop at age 20. Soon he was responsible for the production process. Karlhad more modern design ideas than his father and he changed the style of theHagenauer workshop significantly. The Jugendstil and Art Deco movements had reachedtheir peak in Vienna in the 1920s with the works of the Wiener Werkstätte andits most famous artists Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) and Dagobert Peche(1887-1923) They were strong influences on the WHW designs of this period. Karldesigned lamps, trays, bookends, hood ornaments and ashtrays with hischaracteristic ornamentation, comparable with the masterworks of the WienerWerkstätte.
