Customers were invited to "Test Out Bernard Pliers" by cutting one of the provided nails from the built-in tray, demonstrating the strength of the patented parallel-grip design. The display retains its original steel pliers, still mounted in the front trough, along with remnants of nails used for demonstrations. The reverse side is plain tin, while the front face features detailed illustrations of the plier types available at the time.
