Olivia did only a few of these., thinks three total. She said it could be as early as early 1980s. She did two later after this of Cindy Daguerre (Piercing the Veil, Stiletto model) but this was much, much earlier. Olivia is fairly known for her cat characters especially during this time.

I am only the second owner of this piece and the original owner purchased it directly from Olivia and Tamara Bane Gallery in Beverly Hills. She stares right at you. The background is painted. Some Airbrush and gouache most likely. Signed OLIVIA lower left.

This is a personal piece I am selling at a great price. It is GORGEOUS and was framed in Tru Vu non-glare conservation glass. The black "shiny vinyl" frame part in one area has separated from the bottom piece of real wood due to aging. I believe it could easily be re-glued or get a new frame. It is nicely matted see photos. It is a WOOD frame underneath. I just don't want to fuss with it as it is true period. Otherwise pristine. See back. Image is 17.25 x 12 inches in matte area on board. Conservation glass Framed to 27.5" x 22.5 inches. Buy framed or unframed. THE FRAME IS SOLD AS IS AND NOT A REASON FOR RETURN. CONSIDER IT FREE. THE PAINTING IS WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. You get the non glare museum framed glass and frame.. If you PREFER after purchase I can remove from frame but it is probably small enough to ship with glass. I will pay for the pro-pack. I will only ship framed if in the USA continental states. If you are OUTSIDE continental USA I must ship flat pack without frame, due to cost, risk and so on unless previously arranged. Pick up in Los Angeles is also an option. I own over 50 original works by Olivia easily (I own the finals for art like Gingersnaps, Coconuts, Honeydew, and Ms. Clause Heavy Metal cover!) in my personal collection! I care about these pieces). I consider her a friend and I want to make everyone happy. YOU WILL BE HAPPY. This is a piece of history. I hate letting go, but it is time to begin that process.

I am not sure if this particular one was published, it is probably a trading cared, but I know she did publish one of these. It is beautiful. You can probably also get a COA AFTER the transaction and not part of this transaction if you really desire one from Robert Bane. He typically charges $100 bucks for one but he lives fairly nearby or I can put you in touch. BUT IT IS 100 percent authentic.
