This time, tribute is paid to the highest of theseven wonders - the Pharos of Alexandria. This majestic ancientlighthouse stood on the island of Pharos close to the coast ofEgypt for more than a thousand years; built in 300 B.C., it was thefirst beacon fire in history.

The exclusive fountain pen from Pelikan recalls this technical andartistic marvel with an equivalent degree of precision andcraftsmanship. Even the presentation is unique: the pen isimpressively displayed under a glass dome designed to bereminiscent of the original. The dark blue lacquered barrelenclosed between gold-plated edges and the gold-plated clipemphasise the preciousness of the pen. The front section isadorned with an engraved image of the ancient building.

Further features of "The Lighthouse of Alexandria" are shapesrepresenting four stylised lighthouse windows on the dark bluecap.
