What I know about this document is that Dr. Roy Oliver had it in the Harmony of LIfe Fellowship files and since he passed away in 1999 at 104 years of age, the document was found. He once mentioned to one of his students that it was given to him for safe keeping shortly before WWII by a Lady who was the housekeeper for the David Mills house that Lincoln stayed in during his speech at Gettysburg.This has not been researched for authenticity, because many don't believe this to ever have existed. Sotheby's did not want to offer it for sale because they informed us that they lacked the professional expertise involving this document.This particular draft shows the corrections he made after changing his thoughts about the speech, The only one of it's kind known to exist!I would consider this a rough draft of the final document.
